Day 11 - AEDM & Nablopomo - Remembrance Day

In honour of our fallen soldiers.

An Australian Army Slouch hat
Pencil-free sketch in A6 pocket Moleskine sketchbook
using ZIG Millennium 005 pen.

As we do each year on this special day,
Bradley and I stood in silence for one minute at 11am
while listening to 'The Last Post'.

  2. We are celebrating Veteran's Day here. It is the same hour of the same day as your Remembrance Day. I had NO idea this was a world wide event. So good to know and so good see it being observed in more than just the States.

  5. it's a festive time this side of the globe, but i'll surely take two minutes out to remember all those who could've been with us today had they not been taken down by the elements of hate...
    Peace to their families.

  7. Hi Serena,
    What a lovely post to honor the fallen soldiers and those that have served and the ones that are still serving!
    Tomorrow is Veteran's Day here in the USA so I will come back to your blog and listen to "The Last Post" and salute our Veteran's and Our Armed Forces.
